MOTHERCARE RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY – WEBSITE



General Policy

Defective merchandise may be returned and exchanged by returning the item via courier to Mothercare Active Fun BGC or by visiting any Mothercare branch within seven (7) days upon receiving of the item. Original proof of purchase or Official Receipt should be presented at the time of request for return and exchange.

Defective merchandise for return and exchange must have hang tags and/or price tags.

Exclusions - toiletries and personal products such as breast pads and disposable nappies, underwear, opened mattresses and items with short usage life expectancy (ex. teats). If any products are returned that were part of a multi-buy promotion then all items must be returned.

Merchandise that were already used, altered & or washed shall no longer be accepted for return and exchange.

The valuation of the merchandise subject to return and exchange shall be based on the purchase price paid or current selling price at the time of request for exchange and return, whichever is lower.

Exchange of defective merchandise to another item of lower value shall not entitle the purchaser to the return of price difference. In case of exchange of the defective merchandise to another item of higher value, the price difference shall be paid by the customer.

Only items purchased from MOTHERCARE PHILIPPINES can be exchanged.

Customer is not entitled to a return and exchange under the IRR of R.A. 7394 of Consumer Act of the Philippines, based on the following reasons:
a. Sudden change of mind upon purchase
b. Defects caused by misuse or mishandling of the customer
c. Awareness of defect(s) in the terms bought during a clearance or sale or sales promo with marked-down prices


Incorrect Item Delivered


For any wrong item sent to you, we will provide the correct item and retrieve the incorrect item at our cost. An exchange can be provided or a refund may be processed based on customer preference.


For Wrong Size Purchase and Exchange

Exchange of size will require customer to return their purchased item(s) to Mothercare Ayala Manila Bay via courier or by visiting any Mothercare Branch. For all exchange queries, please contact one of our friendly customer service members on the contact details provided below. Please note that Mothercare will only offer exchange for the same items or of equal value or above. For all exchanges of higher value you will be required to pay the difference in amount. Please note we do not offer exchange on promotional items. We offer exchange providing the item(s) is in good condition and original state of packaging with tags still attached.
